Interoil Exploration and Production ASA is an independent oil and gas exploration and production company, headquartered in Oslo, Norway and with offices in Bogotá, Colombia. The company is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange with te ticker “IOX”.

Interoil is involved in the acquisition, exploration, development and operation of oil and natural gas properties in South America. A number of projects are being evaluated, both producing fields and prospecting areas.

Interoil’s current asset portfolio is focussed on onshore E&P contracts in Colombia and Argentina. Te company aims to expand its portfolio through further acquisitions, purchase of license shares and by license applications or awarded permits and licenses mainly in South America.

Interoil’s strategy is to grow into a key E&P player in Latin-America through acquisition, exploration, development and operation of its existing reserves and resource base in Colombia and Argentina.

Interoil has a large inventory of drillable prospects with significant upside potential and has low risk development drilling, workover and gas re-injection targets within the Puli C, Mata Magallanes Oeste licenses and exploration prospects in its exploration licenses and five exploitation concessions in the province of Santa Cruz. As an independent oil & gas exploration and production company, Interoil aims to explore and produce oil & gas in an economically efficient and sustainable way for our shareholders and all stakeholders. The Company applies the same aim for sustainability to all activities in all locations where it operates. Interoil strives to satisfy both commercial and ethical requirements and is continuously improving performance to act in accordance with good oilfield practice and high standards of sustainability.

The Company also monitors and assesses developments and trends in the energy sector at large, including progress and changes in adequate environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) standards and progress in energy transition initiatives, and accordingly adjust the company’s standards to any such external impact.
