(Oslo, 08 March, 2012) InterOil E&P ASA (IOX) is pleased to inform that Chief Technical Officer (CTO), René Graf, will take on the role as new Managing Director of IOX. Mr. Graf has more than 35 years of international experience from the E&P sector and has been the CTO of IOX since 2006. Please find Mr. Graf's CV enclosed.

Stefan Schaub will take on the position as CTO and lead the technical team in Zurich. Mr. Schaub has more than 25 years of international experience from the E&P sector and has during the last six years been the director of geology in IOX.

Former Managing Director, Tom Wolden, will take on the position as Chief Operating Officer (COO).
